Are you setting yourself up for success to achieve your fitness goals, or are you just aimlessly wondering through life hoping it will work?
For most of us our routine is the same from week to week.
Yet somehow, we managed to forget our gym clothes, or missed that class all together, then by the time mid-week has come along, the thought of “why bother now”, starts sinking in and you give up totally in the end.
Sunday comes again and the cycle continues.
Here are some tips on setting yourself up for success to achieve your fitness goals.
- Each Sunday sit down with your diary or calendar on your phone and start plotting out your week and pre booking your classes in advance. You will have better chance of turning up. It’s more of an accountability thing to yourself
- At the start of each day, quickly run your eyes over your schedule for the day ahead. That will remind yourself about the class.
- Prepack the gym bay the night before, or even go a step further by putting the bag in the car. It’s one less thing to worry about the next morning.
- Keep in contact with your gym buddy throughout the week, they will hold you accountable and keep you attending classes.
So, by putting pen to paper, booking your classes in advance, with the gym clothes pack, you set yourself up for success in achieving your fitness goals.
